We leave out an important part of the Gospel if we leave out the Holy Spirit. All humans were designed to carry the Spirit of God, but sadly sin makes that impossible. However, God desires to fill Christians with his Spirit and give us his power.

 It is impossible to know someone without knowing their name. The different names of the Holy Spirit tell us a lot about who the Spirit is.

As Christians with the Spirit inside of us, we have in our spiritual DNA the ability to bear fruit. It can feel overwhelming if we are trying in our own power to produce the fruit of the Spirit. We can’t do it on our own. The Holy Spirit wants to bear fruit in us. 

God thought it was better that Christians have the Holy Spirit than a physical/visible Jesus on this Earth. It was for our benefit that Jesus went away and sent his Spirit. This should blow our minds, because we have all we need right now to live a powerful Christian life. God’s joy is to give us the Holy Spirit when we ask. Let’s ask!
